Story of our founders
The founders of GoDirect previously worked in web design and created webshops and corporate websites. Later, Krisztián himself became an accommodation provider, when he faced how much hassle and administration comes with providing accommodation. The same tasks need to be done on multiple platforms, continuously keeping in touch with guests, monitoring calendars on intermediary sites, and performing mandatory NTAK data provision. At this point, they thought to create the GoDirect accommodation management application for guesthouse and apartment owners.
Where we started
During the Covid period, Krisztián - who was already an accommodation provider - created the Szállásadók Szakmai Közössége Facebook group, as there was a lot of uncertainty regarding regulations. The group members were very enthusiastic about sharing knowledge, and due to the mandatory data provision and document reading, we quickly recognized that there is a great demand for a solution that simplifies the daily lives of accommodation providers and helps increase their direct bookings. We received a lot of helpful feedback from the community members, and we can say that GoDirect was designed by accommodation providers for accommodation providers.
Where we are headed
Today, our team has grown to 7 members, with whom we continuously work to make GoDirect the one app that covers the entire process of accommodation management. It's important for us to create an easily manageable interface and help increase direct bookings. We believe that such a system is not just a privilege for hotels, but also for guesthouse and apartment owners, which is why we skip unnecessary features and apply affordable pricing for individual accommodations.
